I’m 20 years old, I started playing guitar two years ago and sung in choirs as a girl. However I consider myself a writer above all else; if there is anything a can leave with my audience it is my words.

I first started performing at the Manhattan Beach Coffee Bean with two friends of mine who play flamenco guitar. They encouraged me to write and to continue learning guitar. It is now two years later and only now do I feel like I’m a musician.

My passion for music comes from sharing my words with the people who hear my songs and knowing that in some way I can change their life with a song. I especially enjoy playing for a young audience, I’ve had the opportunity to play for the kids at MBMS, getting to know some of those students on a personal level. I’ve taught some of those students how to play the guitar and eventually they began writing songs of their own. Their talent inspires me in my musical development and I am so thankful to have the chance of working with such special kids.

My goal as a musician is simply to move people. Whether this is on a large scale if I get signed and “make it,” or if it means playing for people on tuesday nights at Coffee Bean and getting to know the locals, I’m satisfied in knowing that there are people who understand me through my music and can learn from my songs.
